A cosy place to stay, Hotel Frón is located on Reykjavík's main downtown shopping street. This four floor, 63 room hotel, with elevator, provides its guest with a selection of accommodation, such as single and double rooms, studio apartments as well as larger apartments. All rooms have a bathroom, minibar, telephone, television and a safe. All apartments have kitchen facilities, a refrigerator, microwave oven and a cooking stove.

We couldn't have picked a better hotel, the Hotel Fron is situated right in the middle of the main street that runs through Reykjavik. This is an excellent location for bars, restaurants, supermarkets, shops and the tourist information centre. We stayed in an appartment in the annex that had a kitchenette (inc. fridge and microwave), good size bathroom with hot shower, bedroom and lounge area. The central heating was really good and controllable. We didn't bother with the breakfast that the hotel provided for an extra £8 a day, instead we visited a lovely bakery 2 mins up the street from the hotel that sold great croissants and sandwiches. The reception staff were really helpful and the overall cost was reasonable.
