Airport, gives you a chance to have a good night sleep withouth having worries, catching a plane early morning or travel from the airport late night. Free pickup and drop off at the airport and they have a service desk in the airport arrival hall.

The motel was opened in june 2002, and we have a goal to be a home away from home, where you make your own meal, or get breakfast, free coffiee or tea, clean rooms, quality beds, non smoking, satellite tv and geothermal hot tub. Car rental service supermarket/diner/busstop 300 m away. The hotel is open all year round. Guesthouse, bed and breakfast, near the Blue Lagoon. For stop overs passanger stopping for one or two nights in Iceland, the hotel Alex offers excellent location. The world famous Blue Lagoon is only 15 min drive from the motel. In summertime the hotel offers direct trips to the Blue Lagoon. Capital Reykjavik is 40 min drive away. The Golden Circle (Thingvellir-Gullfoss-Geysir), south and west part of Iceland, are in an enjoyable daytours.

For golfers one of Iceland's best eighteen hole golf course only five min. drive and you can play thru the night in summertime! Whale watching from Keflavik harbour 3min away. Rich bird life all around, in winter we have the northern lights and in summer the midnight sun and bright nights. The Viking ship Icelander (Islendingur) which sailed from Iceland to USA in the year 2000, off course backed up by old Icelandic sagas, saying the Vikings sailed to USA 500 years before Columbus did, is now owned and located here in Keflavik harbour, well worth a visit
